1. The agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Aylo iOS app and our website (together, the “Service”), provided by Aylo AI Inc. (“Aylo”, “we”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use Aylo
You must be at least 17 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. You may not use Aylo if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. Aylo signs you in through Apple or Google — we don’t store your password. Please tell us at support@ayloai.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Aylo is not a medical or mental-health service
Aylo is a journaling companion. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on Aylo for emergencies.

5. Your content
You own what you write. Your logs, chats, photos, and notes about people in your life are yours. To run the Service for you — store your entries, sync them across devices, show them back to you, and generate responses — you grant Aylo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process your content for the limited purposes of operating the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for backup copies that age out within 60 days.
We will not use your content to train machine-learning models, sell it to third parties, or display it publicly. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. AI responses
Aylo’s reflections and chat replies are generated by an AI model. They may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are offered as one perspective, not as professional advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on what Aylo says.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use Aylo to:
- Harm, harass, defame, or impersonate another person.
- Upload content that violates someone else’s rights, or that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to facilitate serious harm.
- Probe, attack, or interfere with the Service’s infrastructure, including bypassing rate limits or extracting model weights.
- Resell, white-label, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity.
8. Subscriptions & payments
Aylo offers a free tier and an optional Aylo Plus subscription with higher usage limits and additional features. Subscriptions are sold through Apple. Pricing and billing are handled by the App Store under Apple’s terms. Your subscription renews automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel it through your Apple ID settings.
Refunds, where required by law or Apple’s policies, are handled by Apple. We are happy to help you understand your subscription — write to support@ayloai.com.
9. Changes to the Service
We’re a small team and the Service will evolve. We may add, change, or remove features. If we make a material change that disadvantages paying subscribers, we’ll give reasonable notice and a path to a refund of the unused portion of the current term.
10. Termination
You can stop using Aylo at any time. You can delete your account from Settings → Your Data → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing the Service to you creates a serious risk. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aylo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aylo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our total liability arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) US $50.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aylo from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of someone else’s rights.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Arbitration. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Aylo will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Delaware or remotely at your election.
Class action waiver. You agree to resolve disputes individually. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be void.
Small claims exception. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to legal@ayloai.com within 30 days of creating your account.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
